DISGUSTING: In the Wake of Las Vegas Massacre, All the Left Can Do is Talk Gun Control
In the wake of last night's terror attack on Las Vegas, which left 59 dead and over 500 wounded, it has never been a more inappropriate moment for gun control advocates to shovel their rhetoric down America's throat. Leftists, however, are not known for their tact -- and shovel they did.
Mere hours after 54-year-old Nevada resident Stephen Paddock opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel towards an open-air music festival on Sunday evening, leftist nuts set to work spinning the evil act into a narrative for increased gun restrictions.
Leading the charge was Hillary Clinton, who ignorantly tweeted that "the crowd fled at the sound of gunshots. Imagine the deaths if the shooter had a silencer, which the NRA wants to make easier to get." Of course, she either wasn't aware of or ignored the fact that firearm with suppressors still sound like firearms. In fact, as one twitter user put it:
Clinton wasn't the only one to get in on the act. Dozens of leftist figureheads, including the likes of Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Billy Eichner, Lena Dunham, Mia Farrow and more decided to voice their uninformed opinions in a bid to increase gun control.
Ironically, virtually every leftist using the Las Vegas attack as a platform for gun control is regularly protected by armed security. The left has always been about "do as I say, not as I do."
"Prayers are important but @SpeakerRyan @realDonaldTrump blood is on the hands of those who have power to legislate. #GunControl act quickly," tweeted Lady Gaga, presumably from the comfort of her multimillion dollar estate as her private security team patrols with concealed weapons.
Gun laws would've done nothing to stop the evil acts that Paddock carried out. Since 1986, fully automatic weapons have been virtually banned by the National Firearms Act. Criminals have this nasty habit of breaking the law, as we saw in the San Bernardino attacks, in which terrorists used illegally purchased and modified rifles to slaughter dozens despite California having some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation. Gun laws do not stop evil people -- good people stop evil people.
Stay alert. Stay alive.
