Leftist Student Faces Up to a Year in Jail After Assaulting a Trump-Supporter
Last month, we brought you the story of Edith Macias, a leftist student attending University of California Riverside. When Macias saw fellow student Matthew Vitale wearing a MAGA hat in support of President Trump, she snatched it off his head and took it to a student services building to whine:
Vitale eventually got his hat back and decided to press charges on Macias, intent on holding her accountable for her actions.
Despite the video evidence, UCR officials declined to denounce Macias's actions and at one point, leftist student groups demanded that her rent be paid for her.
Hilariously, a GoFundMe page started for Macias tripled its goal thanks to Trump supporters determined to show her why her world view was completely wrong:

While it's unknown if Macias ended up recognizing the error of her ways, she'll certainly face consequences for her actions. Although initially UCR Police informed Vitale that there was sufficient evidence to pursue felony charges, the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office has charged Macias with one misdemeanor count of grand theft.
From the College Fix:
If ever there was a more clear-cut example of the mental illness that is leftism, Edith Macias is it. Much like Antifa member Louise Rosealma, aka 'Moldylocks,' Macias was once a normal human being — until she became infected with the leftist virus:
While it's not clear if jail time can straighten out Macias, one thing is clear — when justice is served, it's a sweet sweet thing indeed.
Stay alert. Stay alive.
