"F*ck Off, Snitch": Reporter Blasted for Notifying Cops of Hurricane Harvey Looting
History is repeating itself, this time with slightly different targets.
In 2005, Hurricane Katrina tore through New Orleans, leaving many homeless as 800,000 housing units were destroyed and streets were flooded. While the disaster prompted worldwide relief efforts and brought out the best of people, it also brought out some of the worst:
Looters quickly took to the streets; chaos and lawlessness set in as residents were assaulted and raped. It quickly became a priority for police and first responders to re-establish order to affected areas.
Incredibly, leftists stepped up to label the natural disaster an issue of "black pain," brazenly shoehorning in their political narrative as thousands suffered. Suddenly, criminal thugs that were looting were merely survivors 'finding' supplies — anyone that disagreed were racists. We find it hard to believe that basketball shoes and flat-screen TVs are necessary for survival.
Twelve years later in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, once again we see the best of people and the worst of people.
From Yahoo News:
History is repeating itself and our country has become more divided than ever.
Somehow, we find it hard to believe that survivors are scavenging for flat-screen TVs and weaves for survival.
Stay alert. Stay alive.
