TRIGGERED: Leftist Thugs Attack "Patriot Picnic" at San Diego Chicano Park
Apparently, enjoying pizza is a tell-tale sign of white supremacy.
On Sunday afternoon, San Diego police were deployed to Chicano Park in anticipation of unrest over an event termed the "Patriot Picnic" by organizers.
As impressive as "Patriot Picnic" sounds, it consisted literally of a handful of Trump supporters sharing some pizza in a park.
Still, Antifa needs little reason to act like violent children. Here's how it all went down.
Our patriotic picnickers make their way to a nearby table, pizza and drinks in hand. They have no signs, no banners and are visually indistinguishable from other park goers. Except for visitors out walking their dogs or taking a stroll, the park is virtually deserted:
As the merry band sets down their food and prepares to dig in, a battalion of San Diego police officers walk up to the scene:
The cameraman cheerfully thanks all of the officers for their service as they slowly surround the picnickers, forming a human barrier along the sidewalk:
At this point, the overwhelming police presence seems unnecessary. However, just a few minutes later...
Hundreds of angry leftist crybabies surge across the street and descend on the picnic, shouting threats while proudly waving Mexican and Communist flags.
As the crowd grows to a fever pitch, a San Diego police official (possibly a lieutenant judging from his collar insignia) approaches the table. While the picnickers continue to munch their pizza, the officer offers to escort them safely away from the mob.
They accept, and none too soon; as they make their way out of the park, it's all the officers can do to keep the violent fascist thugs at bay:
Masked cowards push up on the escorting officers, yelling more violent threats. Some of the leftist thugs are armed with thick wooden poles as they menacingly chant "Out! Out!" in Spanish. The video ends with the cameraman getting safely into his vehicle, well away from the bulk of the angry mob.
While the San Diego Police Department did an excellent job proactively heading off any leftist violence, scenes like these are disturbing. Freedom of speech is no longer approved — no longer can someone be allowed to enjoy pizza in a park if they deviate from the pre-approved leftist narratives.
There was zero evidence to indicate that the picnickers were racist or hateful in any way, yet these picnickers were labeled "racists," "Nazis" and accused of promoting hate.
What was the reason for so much cry-baby anger?
What perspective did these five men share that caused such an overblown reaction?
Besides supporting President Trump, the men disagreed with the message of a nearby mural and wanted to protest against it. That's all.
Here's the painting in question:
